Day 10 London

One depart and two arrivals today.

Ginette had reserve a car for 6 am this morning for Heathrow.  I wanted to say goodbye, so I was awoke early.  Well I am always awake early so it doesnt made such a difference.

The car arrived in time and I waved Ginette goodbye.

Nancy and Joelle leaved  around 9h30 for the Tower of London.

They spent five hours touring the Tower and said they didn't see everything. They were particularly impressed by the Crown Jewels exhibition. After the tour, they went to a flea market that Joëlle had heard about. To get there, they had to cross the magnificent Tower Bridge. Oh well! Joëlle was delighted with what she saw at the market and bought a ring as a souvenir.

I went to meet Julianne et Jade at South Kensington station, around noon.  They were so exhausted ! I made them a quick lunch. After eating, they insisted on taking a nap. I don't recommend it, but from the exhausted look on their faces, I could see they couldn't go any further.  So they went on bed for a one hour siesta.

After the siesta, we went for the Royal tour, of course.  Big Ben was majestuous under the blue sky without any cloud.

This tour was absolutly different than the one we did went Joelle and Nancy arrived.  It was so crowdy everywhere !  Week-end + full sun was the reason I guess.

Tonight Julianne et Jade chosen to go explore the surround of the area and go to bed early.

Nancy Joelle and I had supper in the confort of our home sweet home.
