Last day.
A thing I can tell about our last day is that Bristol is really underestimated. It is a beautiful city.
This morning we took a TO-OT bus. It is a Hop-on, Hop-off. I dont usually took that kind of bus because I think a city most be discover walking. But walking a city like Bristol in 2 days would made us missed nice sights for sure.
The absolutly not to miss is the Clifton Suspension Bridge that is spanning the Avon Gorge and the River Avon, linking Clifton in Bristol to Leigh Woods in North Somerset. It rises more than 100 meters from the Avon. Crossing it on foot could make some people dizzy. We did it.
We learned that as many other cities in England, Bristol suffered a lot from the World War 11. Many places have been bombarded.
We came back near our hotel to found out there was many food trucks installed at our doors. What a concidence it was about time to lunch. Wow! We are lucky, because we hearded that they come here only on wednesday. We had a chicken souvlaki that was so yummy!!
In the afternoon, we visited the Castle park that was just a few minutes from our place. We saw a place that make me think at my left hand friends and family.
After an afternoon break (break for Marcel, I had to do the verifly and complete the ArriveCAN), we went for our last apero on the path of the river.
We came back before supper to do our boarding passes. What a nightmare!! Because we didn't have the same class of ticket, it was a little bit more complicated to do. At the end, we had only one choice to be together... So no trouble to choose our places after all.
Tonight we went at Marcos Olive Branch. This restaurant have been recommanded by people on Tripadvisor Forum. It is a very good place. the service was very sympathic and the food awsome. Wre really had a good time for this last supper in England.
