The day of contrasts.
In the morning, we went at the peaceful Primrose Hill. We climbed the hill to have a splendid view over London. From our point of view, we coulded see many emblematic places of London: St-Paul Cathedral, The Shark, London Eye...
We walked for a little moment in the park and it was time for lunch. We choose a little place to eat "french crepes".
It was too early to come back home so Marcel suggested we stopped at Candem, at it was on our way.
I thought that maybe on a tuesday it coulded be less crowded... Wrong! It was jam pack of people. We didn'r stay long but we took the time to search for Amy Winehouse statue.
Then we came back to the apartment for a one hour break. It was time to get Carole's boarding pass.
After an hour, we were fresh and ready to hit the road again, to meet Lucie and Daniel. We had an appointment at the Gordon Wine bar. It was such a pleasure to meet them there! Lucie told us about her "favourite" of the day: Fortnum and mason, where she felt like a queen. We discussed our stay in London and everyone was unanimous: London is a charming city.
We got back early in Chelsea for the dinner. We went to The Jam, where I already been with Renée on our first day. Marcel and Carole were quite impressed by the display of the tables. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Everyone working there were young and so kind!!
We came back not too late because Carole had to finish her luggages. It is her last night in London. Carole is sad to quit but she is happy of her trip!
We counted 17 553 steps today!

Ça prend bien des anglais pour avoir des idées aussi originales.
