It was a country side' day. We went to Richmond, which is in south-west London. We tought about travelling with the boat but it is a long ride of 2 hours. We choose to travel with the train and in 40 minutes (bus and train), we were there.
At first, when we arrive, I went to the informations center to have a map of the area. The gentleman who work there was so happy to talk to me in french.
We took a long walk on the Thames path. The same Thames we see in front our flat but the sides are pretty different. On our way to the river, we crossed some pretty Lanes and we stopped in a cute cafe.
We were surprised to see so beautiful country landscapes so near cental London. I think I took around 30 photos.
On our way back, we were happy to have been there in the morning, because it was getting much warm.
We had lunch in a restaurant on the side of the river. We came back in mid-afternoon.
Marcel appreciate a little nap on this second day.
After a short break, we went at the grocery and for a drink at the pub. Carole prefered to stay home to let us being as a couple, even if we honestly said to her it doesnt matter that much.
We went at a pub called Chelsea Potter on King's Road. We took an alternative steet to come back and we ended passing in front Bob Marley flat in Chelsea. Near Bob's flat, I choose my future sddress...if one day I gain the lottery.
We went back for a walk after dinner. We tried another road and we ended up on the beautiful Albert Bridge. Tonight, the weather is just perfect. I am falling in love again with my London.
A good day of 22 368 steps.
