This morning, Nicole already had a plan for her day. She wanted to visit the Desigh Museum. She visited the Leighton house and said it was her must-see for the day.
Us 3 others went to Regent Park. It's always so pleasant to walk in a park, especially on a sunny day. We then did the usual route: Paul McCartney's house and Abbey Road. Dominique feels a little funny about being photographed while crossing the road.
For lunch we went to Clifton Nursery. It's a cafe hidden in a garden center. It's a cool atmosphere and the menu was very interesting.
After lunch we went to see the boats on the canal before taking the tube to Trafalgal Square. From there we parted ways.
Carole and Dominique went to the National Gallery and I visited the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery. I didn't find my usual haunts there, so I had to look for the rooms I wanted to visit. I saw many portraits of royalty and a few others that I found very interesting even though they were little known people.
This evening we went to eat the Sunday roast in Prince Albert's garden.
Every time I cross the Albert Bridge, I think of Phi.
On our way back, we crossed 2 gentlemen very classy.
That is it for today, after 23516 steps. Time to go to sleep.
