Marcel was leaving today but his flight was at 17h40, so we went on Oxford Street for a walk on the more commercial street in London.   I have mixed feeling about his depart: I love to be in London, but I dont like see him leave.  I would prefer to have both: him and London at the same time.  It seem it is not possible... Sigh...

In the meantime, Carole, José and Denis went to visit Buckingham Palace.  They had a reservation for 10h.  Carole was really impress by the chandeliers, the paintings and sculptures all around. Denis was surprise to see that it aint fixed in the past.  We can see that the palace is still in use.  For José it was a second visit but she enjoyed it as well. 
  
We met in the middle of the afternoon at the house and chat a while before doing shopping at Sainsburys for the supper.
Tonight it was a homemade supper: pasta ''à la carbonara'' with asparagus and chicken.  We also had a green salad on the side. 

After supper, we went for a short walk to see the neighborhood. 
As for the weather, there was a drizzle all day long, but nothing to stop any activity.
