Day 6

Windsor.
We took the train to Windsor in the morning from Waterloo because there is no train changes but I am not sure it is the better way. It took more time because the train stop very often. Anyway. we visit the fabulous castle and have lunch in a nice pedestrian alley.
We came back in London in the late afternoon to rest a little bit before our dinner at The Narrow, a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The Narrow is situated in east London about 40 minutes walk from our flat. We decide to walk there as the weather was nice. Without plan, we manage to found the restaurant, asking two peoples the directions on our way. The area around the restaurant is nice and peaceful and the river view front the restaurant is very beautiful. For our meal, opinion are different: Danielle had cod and she found her meal absolutly delicious; Josee had pork roast and she appreciated the vegetables but wasn't impressed with the meat; for my part, I had the sunday beef roast, it wasn't my best meal ever in London but it was good. There is a lively ambiance in at The Narrow. We laught a lot and really enjoy our evening. We start our way back walking but mid way we took a taxi.
