Day 2

July 12

After a good night of sleep I was ready for another London day. I start day 2 with a traditional english breakfast : scrambled eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, toasts and coffee. It was very good. Beside the full english breakfast, you can also have continental : yaourt, croissant, muffin, cheese, cereal, juice and fresh fruits. At nine I was on my way. I head up Picadilly street and walk on Burlington Arcade. Then I went to Hatchards Bookstore. Seven floors of books!!! I stay there for more than an hour. I bought 3 books. After shopping, I went at Fortnum and Mason for a coffee. It was a threat but I wont talk about the price!!!!! Then, I went to visit the art gallery James Hyman on Saville Row (just beside where the Beatles played on the roof) to look at Linda McCartney photography. The dedicace at the entry of the gallery had been wrote by Paul. There is not alot of photos but they are all beautiful and how signifiant for me. On my way back, I bought some postcards. Then it was time for a snack and an afternnon nap.

Before supper, I went to the Grenadier, an old pub on Wilton Row. It wasn't easy to found it but it was such an experience. I sat at the bar and had half a pint of light lager. At the bar there was 3 mens working for France and Belgian ambassy. It was funny to listen at them.

For supper I tried Goya Tapas bar on Lupus St.. I had garlic chicken, spicy potaoes and green salad. Delicious.
